The generation that follows Generation Z is Generation Alpha. Generally defined as those born between 2010 and 2024, Generation Alpha is the first to be born entirely in the 21st century. As the children of Millennials, they have grown up in a world saturated with technology, including smartphones, tablets, and social media, shaping their experiences and development from a very young age. This generation is also expected to be more racially and ethnically diverse than previous generations.
Following Generation Alpha is the proposed Generation Beta, with birth years typically defined from 2025 to 2039. As the children of younger Millennials and older Generation Z, Generation Beta is anticipated to be even more immersed in rapidly advancing technologies like artificial intelligence and virtual reality. They are also expected to be shaped by growing global concerns such as climate change and sustainability, potentially leading to a generation that prioritizes these issues in their values and actions.
